Bring relief to those who need it most!

The 30 Hour Famine is our response to humanitarian crisis around the world including natural and man-made disasters, the affects of climate change, the global food crisis, war and conflict, and the HIV and AIDS pandemic.

Recent World Vision Taiwan responses to major natural disasters include the Typhoon Morakot response, Haiti Earthquake, and the Qinghai Earthquake in China.

Every year, the 30 Hour Famine funds food security projects in Asia and Africa to ensure children have food to eat and their parents have opportunities to develop sustainable livelihoods, especially in regions vulnerable to effects of climate change.

World Vision Taiwan programs in areas suffering from war and civil unrest are focused on providing children with shelter and safe environments where children can be children and where their rights are protected.

World Vision Taiwan believes that hope is for every child, even those affected by HIV and AIDS or have close family members who carry the deadly disease. HIV and AIDS programs are focused on care, prevention, and awareness raising.

Today, World Vision Taiwan is supporting relief work in 80 countries and has reached over 50 million people since the 30 Hour Famine started in 1990.
