Microenterprise development loans bring hope to poor families.
Waholand doesn’t need to worry about his financial stability or his children’s tuition any more. Running a greenhouse allowed him to improve his income. Many years ago, he started a greenhouse by getting a loan from World Vision Armenia. After several years or hard work, his crops are thriving and he was able to pay back the loan this summer.
“My family’s living conditions have become better since I got a micro enterprise loan” said Rosa, a single mother in Honduras.
Rosa has been running a candy shop funded through loans. As a result, she can manage her business and take care of her two daughters, ages 8 and 9, at the same time.
